Cape May Beach, NJ

 

 

We had a enjoyable trip to Cape May Beach the first week of June.  We stayed at the Sandpiper Beach Condos and it was spectacular.  We stayed on the top floor with an ocean view and it was just what our family needed.  Time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  It was also a great way to honor Tobie's 1rst birthday, since we didn't have a traditional first birthday party.  We hope to make this an annual family tradition.

We had a small family celebration for Tobie's 1rst Birthday, since we were also going to go to Cape May Beach to celebrate his birthday.  Tobie thoroughly enjoyed devouring his birthday cake!

Husky's Hideaway, Berkeley Springs, WV

We enjoyed staying at the rustic log cabin in West Virginia during Spring Break.  It was a very relaxful and peaceful time.  The boys really enjoyed just sitting next to the wood burning stove oven.

Trip to Philadelphia, PA

To top off our winter season of mini-trips, we had one last trip to Philadelphia, PA to end the 2012 year.  We visited the Please Touch Me museum with some friends.  The museum was quite crowded during the winter break and we ended up going to our hotel a bit earlier than expected.  We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn and enjoyed staying in a room next to our friends.  When it was time to leave, it was snowing fast and hard....and thankfully, we made it home safely.
